Paco Rico// Dude draws some pretty nice pin up ladies along with a sprinkling of weird orc type things. It’s pretty solid design wise and I love his color palate for the pin up ladies.

Aria Giovanni// This is a completely strange index of nothing but Aria Giovanni photos. Back in 2000 I was completely obsessed with her. I even got my picture taken with her at Comic Con in San Diego. I can’t find the picture where she is resting her wonderful, giant breasts on my shoulder like it was a hawk and I was in the movie Beastmaster, so you get this instead.

I don’t even know how I’m supposed to follow a perverts treasure trove of Aria Giovanni but I’m gonna try.

Dustin Harbin// There is nothing I enjoy more than reading comic artists blogs about things that aren’t about comics. Mr. Harbin is very entertaining and why should I have to convince you when there’s his amazing bit on, The Bachelor.

Freakonomics// I stumbled onto Freakonomics through the film that they made which completely blew me away. I love the way that they presented a lot of things in a way that I had never thought about in the slightest. They have a really good site and there’s also the podcast that you can get for free on iTunes. I really, really think everyone should give the movie a watch because even though you might not agree with some of the ideas that are presented, it really does challenge normal peoples way of processing ideas.

The Beat// The Beat is really the only site I check out when I want to find out about what’s going on with comic books. Which is rare. I’m forcing myself to pick up more books because I’m so out of the god damn loop it’s not even funny. I want to find some new artists that I’ve never seen before and read some new good shit. One day I’m hoping that I can finally snag a copy of Brandon Graham’s Prophet comic and I can’t wait to check out Becky Cloonan’s work on Conan, pesky bottom teeth be damned! I didn’t even know that DC had relaunched it’s entire stable of books with all new #1′s. I’m a retard.

threeA// threeA makes some of the sickest toys I’ve ever seen. If I didn’t already have a retarded collection of GI Joes, these would be next. It’s just hard to justify to my fiancee that spending $100 on 1 action figure is a worthwhile investment. It’s much easier to buy 11 $8 GI joes and get away with it. But the Fighting JC figure they dropped is really amazing. Who wouldn’t want a Jesus action figure that looks like he’s an extra on that movie The Road?

Chezerbey// A pretty slick blog documenting someones personal home transformation, as well as some really nice interior design ideas. I’ll prolly steal some images for the next installment of Interior Porn on Tuesday. Ooooh dropping plugs.

Yeah so pretty much my life is consumed by comics and Call of Duty: Black Ops when I’m not working 14 hours days or masturbating in 5 minute shifts. But can you blame me? Orc Stain is hands down the best comic of the year and to top it off, if you snoozed on picking up the floppies the first few issues just dropped in Trade Paperback form. Buy this shit or you’ll never find out how amazing a whole comic about Orcs trying to cut off each others weens is.

Notice the giant desk calendar in the backround that I’m using to help me keep track of my blog posts and/or valtrex schedule. Score one for me fighting against “brown people time”. My white side is kicking in! Monday there will be Yitties for the first time in about a year. Rejoice bitches!!!

Fellow comic artist J.B. (Sach on Livejournal..you can check out his stuff by clicking here) went to TCAF recently and drug along his lady. Now I know that dragging a woman friend, whether she’s a craigslist hooker or not, is a pain in the ass. It’s almost as difficult as trying to convince them to get into your windowless van at 2 am after a night of stalking at a bar. But not only did this man pull it off, his lady decided to draw some of the most awesome shit I’ve ever seen in my life while there. Putting out a cigarette on a baby? Classic! Jim Rugg is the shit! I swear everything he does is like little flakes of magic stabbing me in the eyes when I look at it. Case in point, The Guild comic book. What the fuck is the guild? It’s an online TV show or something about all the losers who play World of Warcraft online because their social skills have still not developed at the young age of 35. 

I find damn near anything to do with WoW repulsive and people who play it are usually socially retarded which is why I bought a stack of manly comics like Batman, Superman and other big two bullshit to hide my guilty purchase of The Guild number 1 from the clerk. It reminds me of the first time I rented a transsexual midget porno, but that’s not relevant to this story, maybe another time.

So I bought this book just because the amazing Jim Rugg drew this thing. It’s a really well drawn book and the colors are amazing I highly reccomend burying your shame and purchasing this gem.
